"Not a five star but the new owners have put a lot of time and effort in upgrades.
Things I noticed were a great job on grout and caulking, fresh paint , comfortable bed and really nice people. Gravel parking lot, but the motorcycle is right outside the door . I like the sounds of trains but some people might not. Lots of trains to watch from the comfort of your chair right outside your door. Mexican food truck on the property and generous portions."

The room is in its original state but nevertheless remains clean where all the amenities work perfectly! The fridge was very new with a real freezer section. Good shower pressure, convenient for washing long and thick hair!
Following the owner's recommendation, we tried the Julesburg Tavern, a 10-minute walk away, it's worth the detour!
The train did not disturb us during the night. Very good value for money.

Nous avons appelé 1h avant d’arriver, accueil chaleureux par la propriétaire.
La chambre est dans son jus mais reste néanmoins propre où toutes les commodités fonctionnent parfaitement! Le frigo était très récent avec une vraie partie congélateur. Bonne pression de la douche, pratique pour laver des cheveux longs et épais!
Suite à la recommandation de la propriétaire nous avons testé la Taverne de Julesburg à 10 min à pied, elle vaut le détour!
Le train de nous a pas dérangé durant la nuit. Très bon rapport qualité/prix."

"I am a musician, and have been on the road for 10 days. I asked a local where the best place was to stay in town, and she HIGHLY recommended the Holiday Motel. I'm glad I asked - Linda (the owner) was wonderful, the room was great, and I was able to get some much-needed rest. Thank you Linda!"

"This is a fabulous motel. The room was clean. Linda, the manager/owner, is very friendly and helpful. It is not a huge place with a ton of amenities. It's nice and tidy though. A perfect choice when traveling. The bed was very comfy. Power receptacles easy to use. Fridge and microwave convenient. The heater warms the room quickly. Very short walk from my room to my truck. This is all I ask for in accomodations. The price is also exceptionally reasonable.__I personally love trains and the occasional sound of them passing by is just an added bonus. Not too loud, but present. Just right. I'm the morning, since you're on the edge of town-be prepared for the morning choir of birds. Very peaceful and pleasant.__I will stay at this location again."

"We were just snowed in and landed at this cozy little motel. The staff were friendly and welcoming. They even guided us to places to eat and get groceries, making sure we had all we needed. The room was clean, warm, and well maintained. We’re so grateful to have this as an option during an unexpected hiccup in our trip! The hot bath was much appreciated!"
