"I didn't get to stay here, my truck broke down on the way to Julesburg and I almost froze to death in it. I needed a tow to Julesburg and ended up in Sterling. They called me back before they rented out their last room and made sure I was safe and ok and that I didn't need it. I didn't even have a reservation yet.__It's a kind of humanity you don't see a lot these days and it's worth a lot and they deserve the credit. Good people. Thank you."

"If your looking for a "chain" hotel this isn't it......its like stepping back in time. The room while not what I expected was great. The nice lady at the front desk had to light our furnace but it was toasty in no time. We will definitely stay here again next time we are passing thru. I would recommend this place to my mom, so it must be decent."

"Very clean and affordable. Nice spacious rooms with TVs. Epitome of a mom and pop place. Owner was a real sweetheart and found a paint can opener to open our Guinness beer :). . Probably the best place for the money in all of extreme NE Colorado"

"Our vehicle broke down on the expressway and chose the Holliday motel to stay. Clean rooms. Very quaint. No amenities. Very nice owners. A bit pricey for the accommodations. Wonderful little town. Homey little bowling alley next door. Train goes by every 15 minutes which may be a problem for some but we loved it. If we had to be stranded, this was a great place to be stranded. The folks in this town are the best in the world."
